A former television journalist (LCI, France 24, France 2) and print journalist (Journal du dimanche, L’Express, La Recherche), he specializes in science, technology, innovation, and business.
EVENT FACILITATOR - Over the past 20 years, Paul de Brem has moderated more than 600 conferences and debates in French and English for clients as diverse as the CNRS, Pfizer, Procter & Gamble, the Île-de-France Region, Inserm, EDF, Sanofi, the Pasteur Institute, the Curie Institute, CNES, the Ministry of Research, AstraZeneca, and others.
He chaired a two-day ministerial conference in English on higher education with 60 ministers from four continents. He also chaired the World Chemistry Congress, which was attended by 2,500 people. He chaired several international events as part of the French Presidency of the European Union in 2022.
COMMUNICATION TRAINER – For over 20 years, Paul de Brem has been leading communication training courses on topics such as media training, effective PowerPoint presentations, writing for the web, etc.
His clients include Orange, the Bank of France, CNES (the French space agency), ENA (the National School of Administration), Inserm (the French National Institute of Health and Medical Research), FDJ (the French National Lottery), the Court of Auditors, the Chamber of Notaries, Arianespace, the ARS (Regional Health Agencies), etc.
He has been teaching science journalism at Sorbonne University (ranked 43rd in the world according to the 2023 Shanghai Ranking) for eight years.

With 15 years of experience covering nearly every regulatory role in MedTech, he has: as a lead auditor at a notified body with dozens of audits under his belt; as a consultant who has supported over 50 manufacturers in Europe in achieving MDR and other regulatory compliance; and and as a co-founder of two companies that have brought neurodiagnostic devices to market.
An engineer by training, he designs scalable QMS, PMS, and submission dossiers, applies machine learning to reduce documentation effort, and helps teams generate robust evidence for faster and more reliable approvals.

- Academic background in cell biology, genetics, and bioinformatics.
- Started my career with Orphanet, the European database for rare disease information.
- Moved into consulting at Capgemini, contributing to the development of large-scale digital infrastructures for public ministries (Finance, Education, Interior).
- Joined Institut Curie about ten years ago with the mission of addressing the challenges related to the use of health data, particularly their reuse for research and the development of health innovation. This led to the creation of the Data Office, a pioneering structure established in 2017, responsible for developing the Institute’s Health Data Warehouse and overseeing its uses.
